After Getting Your Lash Extensions
After Getting Your Lash Extensions
For the first 48 hours after getting your lash extensions:
do not get the extensions wet within the first 12 hours and for the best results, avoid getting them wet for 24-48 hours. This amount of time will properly allow the glue to create a strong attachment.
avoid sauna, steam-room, pool, and tanning beds for 48 hours
Daily eyelash extensions care:
- Use oil free make up remover.
- Do not rub or use any type of scrub around the eye area. This may result in accidentally pulling out or damaging your natural lashes.
- Do not use oils around the eyes.
- Do not use cotton on your lashes.
- Brush your lashes every day, but not when they’re wet! Extensions absorb a lot of water and become heavy, so if you brush them while wet, you may pull out your natural lashes!
- Do not try to remove lashes extensions on your own. Contact a professional to guarantee the safety of your natural lashes.
The natural cycle of your lashes is about 3 weeks, so after 8 weeks it is absolutely normal to see extensions with your natural lash falling out. The new natural lashes replace the old ones and continue the lash life cycle.
